James Aikman's brand new Saxophone Concerto was premiered on June 30, 2010 with soloist Taimur Sullivan (pictured) and the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra, led by Vladimir Lande. A recording of the work will follow.

Composer David Heuser has just been annouced as one of the five winners of the American Composers Orchestra “Playing It UNsafe” laboratory for new and innovative orchestral music. He will compose a new work, Dysfunctional Families, which will be premiered on March 4, 2011, 7:30pm in Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall.
